Rae Morris Pro-liner 5 Piece Set Eyeliner

Rae Morris Pro-liner 5 Piece Set Eyeliner is designed to create clean, precise eyeliner looks. Here is our step by step, with extra tips to get the most out of each brush.

1. Familiarise yourself with the brushes

  • The set contains five expertly crafted brushes, each with its own specific role:
Deluxe Eyeliner: ideal for applying and blending liquid or gel liners.
  •  Perfect Eyeliner: suited for fine-to-medium liner work, including detailing like beauty spots or freckles.
  • Precision Bent-Liner: a hooked or bent angle brush, perfect for very fine lines and inner corners.
  • Brow Definer: although labelled for brows, it can also be used for liner work when you need subtle angled strokes.
  • Square Lash Liner. Specially shaped to “push” product into the lash line rather than dragging. Making upper and lower lash-line work easier.

Understanding which brush to use for which part of your liner application helps a lot.

2. Prep your eye area

  • Make sure your eyelids are clean, dry and free of excess oil or heavy creamy eye products. This will help the liner glide smoothly and last longer.
  • If you use a base shadow or primer. Allow it to set before liner application. So you’re working on a stable canvas.
  • For the winged liner look. Note the guideline from makeup artist Rae Morris. The angle of your wing should sit somewhere between horizontal. And the imaginary line from your nose to the outer corner of your eye.

3. Apply the main liner line

  • Choose your liner product (gel, liquid, powder with wet brush). And pick the appropriate brush from the set.For example, #13 or #14 for the main lash-line.
  • Rest your elbow on a stable surface and look straight into the mirror — this gives you more control.
  • Starting at the inner corner of your upper lash line. Draw a line as close to the lash root as possible. Moving outward. According to general liner tips: the line should be thinner at the inner corner and gradually thicken toward the outer corner.

If you’re working with the #17 Square Lash Liner brush, you can “stamp” the product along the lash line. Rather than sweeping.A technique that’s especially useful if your hand is unsteady.“You just stamp and you’re done.”

4. Create (and perfect) the wing or extension

  • When you reach the outer corner of your eye: decide how far and what angle you want your wing. Use the nose-to-outer-eye line as a guide.
  • With a fine brush (#15 or #14), draw a small line extending outward (and slightly up) from the lash line. Then connect the tip of that line back to a point on the lash line and fill in the shape.
  • Clean up any uneven edges. With a pointed cotton tip dipped in micellar water or eye-makeup remover to sharpen the wing. (Rae Morris’ pro trick.)

5. Lower lash line & inner corners

  • If you wish, you can mirror the liner on the lower lash line. Use a very fine brush (#15 or #17) and keep the line thinner here to avoid dragging your eye down.
  • For hooded or smaller eyes. You may prefer to skip heavy liner on the lower lash line and instead focus the definition on the upper lash line. To lift the eye appearance.

6. Finishing touches and maintenance

  • After finishing your liner, allow it to fully set (especially if it’s liquid) before moving or blinking heavily.
  • If you used powder-based liner or want extra longevity. Once liner is dry, you can lightly set the edges with matching eyeshadow for more staying power (traditional technique).
  • Clean your brushes regularly — the vegan micro-crystal fibres in these brushes are designed for excellent product pick-up and control.
  • As Rae Morris suggests: don’t fret about perfection in the first pass. Rough layout + clean-up = better final result.

7. Troubleshooting common issues

If the line is patchy: ensure your brush is loaded with enough product but not overloaded. Clean off excess on the back of your hand before applying.

  • Check if your hand is shaky or the skin moves: use the stamping technique (via #17 brush) rather than sweeping.
  • If the wing looks uneven on each eye. Mark your desired wing tip with a small dot (using a light hand) then connect lines. Keeps both sides more symmetrical.
  • If you have hooded eyes. Keep the wing shape thinner and more horizontal rather than steep. Avoid making the wing too long and going above the crease line.

Using the Rae Morris Pro-Liner Set you’re essentially equipped with a brush for every aspect of liner work. From main lash line to inner corner detail to wing clean-up.

With a little patience, steadied hand (or stamping technique), and good lighting, you’ll be able to achieve sharp, professional-looking results.
