Net-a-Porter launch sustainable fashion store. UK luxury sales house, Net-a-Porter this week have launched a sustainable fashion store.

The UK fashion retailer introduced a “one stop shop” where customers can buy sustainable and ethical products.
Net Sustain is their new platform that highlights brands which meet at least one of the business’ criteria for sustainability.

Customers can choose from over 500 products from 26 different brands. The British retailer is hoping to introduce more designers to Net Sustain in the coming months. This will include beauty and health products. Net Sustain’s line-up includes exclusive fashion collections from a leading sustainable brands.

New way to shop for premium sustainable fashion brands

This includes Stella McCartney, Mother of Pearl and Maggie Marilyn which is a favourite Meghan Markle.

The launch of Net Sustain follows the news that the government in the UK have dropped plans to police fast fashion across Britain. This has been met with anger from environmental groups calling for more control on the industry.

They are pursuing the government to put measures in place to address issues like forced labour, environmental damage, and excessive waste in the industry. Supporters of sustainable fashion can check out Net Sustain here.

History of Net-a-Porter

NET-A-PORTER launched back in June 2000. Their fashion collections include over 800 of the world’s top designer brands that include, Gucci, Chloe, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Isabel Marant, Prada, and Stella McCartney.
