Victoria Beckham Beauty line is a hit. Former Spice Girl now fashion designer, Victoria Beckham has bolstered her fashion empire by entering into the beauty industry.

The ex-singer launched her own beauty line, Victoria Beckham Beauty last weekend in London.

The release of her beauty line preceded her eponymous fashion line’s spring/summer2020 show at London Fashion Show last Sunday. Models took to the runway wearing products from Victoria’s new beauty range.

Joint creation with Sarah Creal

Victoria Beckham Beauty is a joint creation between herself and beauty executive Sarah Creal. Infamous for her previous work, Creal has already worked with established beauty brands such as Bobbi Brown, Tom Ford and Estee Lauder.

Victoria Beckham began teasing her new line on Instagram last week. The 45 year old started sharing photos of the line’s logo and packaging before revealing the products.

The introductory collection includes four tonal eyeshadow palettes or “Smoky Eye Bricks,” as well as a cream glitter eyeshadow in four shades and a kajal eye pencil in three.

Wide choice of beauty products to choose from

Her brand’s philosophy comprises “safety, transparency, education, and inclusivity.” In a behind-the-scenes video shared on the brand’s Instagram, Victoria said, “When developing all of the makeup, we said that we wanted to be incredibly inclusive, and that’s exactly what we’ve done. We all have completely different skin types, we’re all completely different colours, completely different ages, and we’re all wearing the same makeup.”

Victoria who is married to ex-Manchester United star, David Beckham seems set to follow in the footsteps of other celebrity brands such as Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop.

Beckham is placing a lot of emphasis on clean living beauty products. Her new line, is already pledging to minimise its environmental impact on the planet and avoid animal testing.

She went on to say “Superior craftsmanship alone is no longer enough — beauty brands must also be agents of change,” the website reads.

A new kind of sexy

Early this year, Victoria banned the use of exotic animal skins from her fashion designs. She has already discontinued products made from alligator, lizard and snake skins.

Victoria Beckham showcased her clothing fashion line’s for SS20 in London last Sunday. Her husband David Beckham and their four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper were all present.

Posting on her Instagram account before the show, Victoria pointed out that the ethos of her new collection reflects “a new kind of sexy, no restrictions, not much skin on show but a sense of the body and the woman inside,”.

Her new beauty collection has already been given the thumbs up by all the major beauty critics and is available to buy on line now.
