Sustainable Fashion Dublin is hosting a summer party
Sustainable Fashion Dublin is hosting a summer party. To celebrate hitting 10k followers on Instagram, the girls behind Sustainable Fashion Dublin are hosting a huge summer party this Saturday.
Over the past couple of months, the girls have saved clothes from landfills, educated us on the impact the fashion industry has on the environment and shown Ireland how fun sustainability can be.
Posting on their Instagram, they wrote: “As a celebration of hitting 10k followers on Instagram AND just how far our sustainable fashion family has come in the past 6 months, it’s time to let loose, have a drink, enjoy some delish treats, swap clothes, watch an amazing documentary and enjoy an evening well spent with like-minded, sound buzzers.”
The party will, of course, start with a swap shop where you bring five pieces with you to swap for some pre-owned items.
After the swap shop madness, Nutbutter will be supplying you with treats and there will be a cocktail or two from Bloom Gin.
To end the night, there will be a screening of the amazing documentary on sustainable fashion, The True Cost.
The True Cost is a groundbreaking film about human and environmental cost of fashion and asks you who really pays the price for your clothes.
Tickets are €17 and doors are opening from 6pm at The Tara Building, this Saturday, 20th July.
