Irish Vegan Beauty Brands You Should Know

Irish Vegan Beauty Brands You Should Know. There are certain things you look for when purchasing a new beauty product.

Affordability, packaging, pigment payoff, value for money, cruelty-free, expert recommended.

With vegan beauty becoming more popular, I’ve decided to put a list together of the vegan beauty brands you should know.

But what exactly is ‘vegan beauty’?

Simply put, a vegan product does not contain any animal ingredients or animal derived ingredients.

With that in mind, here are some of the best vegan beauty brands breaking the mould right now.

And to support homegrown brands, they are all Irish too.

Skinfull Affairs

Located in the heart of Dublin city centre, Skinfull Affairs’ major focus is on wellbeing. Nearly all of their products are vegan and, if not, they are at least organic and natural-certified. Apart from nabbing yourself a beauty buy, you can avail of a wide range of beauty treatments including massages, Yon-ka facials, pedicures, manicures and even a vegan lash tint. A particular highlight from this brand is their Ella+Mia nail polishes, which deliver a high-shine impact and are PETA certified.

Pestle & Mortar

This skincare line is becoming increasingly popular, with rave reviews both here and stateside. An Irish family own company set up by Sonia Deasy, who works closely with her biochemist sister to formulate conscientous products. A standout product is their Superstar Retinol Night Oil, which delivers the anti-aging benefits of retinol but doesn’t irritate your skin. It also tightens the skin, reduces the size of pores and improves the elasticity of your skin.

Bellamianta

This self-tan brand is all about ethical beauty, with their products being completely vegan. Linda McNamee and Linda McDermott – the brains behind the brand – are both dedicated to giving their ‘customers the best, healthiest and cleanest formulas we can without compromising on performance”. The tan goes on streak free, dries in seconds and, thanks to mango, shea butter and goji berry, there’s no nasty smell you normally associate with fake tan.

Human and Kind

Hailing from Co.Cork, this is another skincare brand that is vegan and cruelty-free. The products range from €5.50-€29.95, meaning there are super affordable. The packaging is also recycling friendly. Their Family Remedy Cream is a great product that works well at treating anything from rashes, to insect bites, to stratches, to minor burns.

Anneco Beauty

And last on this list is Anneco Beauty, an Irish mineral powder makeup company that wants to treat your skin with the ‘kindness, love and care it deserve’. The brand believe in creating makeup and beauty products that are natural, pure and honest. All products are chemical-free, eco-friendly, vegan and kind to your skin.
