Rihanna is the world’s richest female musician

Rihanna is the world’s richest female musician. Congratulations are in order in the Fenty household as Rihanna has been named the world’s richest female musician, just two weeks after launching her LVMH-backed fashion brand to the acclaim of industry insiders.

According to Forbes, the ‘Work’ singer is now the richest female musician in the world, with her $600m fortune topping Madonna’s $570m, Céline Dion’s $450, and Beyonce’s $400m.

Much of her fortune comes from her Fenty empire.

Rihanna is estimated to own 15% of her inclusive Fenty Beauty brand, which has reportedly raked in $570m in sales since launching in September 2017.

According to Forbes, the cosmetics brand is worth more than $3 billion.

The ‘Diamonds’ singer also launch her Savage x Fenty lingerie line, which she co-owns with TechStyle Fashion Group.

The body-positive line was propelled to success by the hype of her 71m Instagram followers before the online store even opened in May 2018.

She further expanded her fashion empire by launching her much-anticipated luxury label Fenty with LVMH, which features high-end clothing, shoes and accessories ranging from $200 to $1,110.

Speaking to Vogue’s Sarah Harris at the unveiling of Fenty, Rihanna said: “I feel pressure in everything, of course.”

“I care to make it the best and present it in the best way, there is pressure every single second, I feel it… not like crumbling pressure, but fearlessness is a façade.”

Work, work, work,work, work, indeed.
