ASOS Marketplace launch online charity shop. Whether you’re trying to lessen your wardrobe’s environmental footprint by buying pre-owned items or want to give back by rummaging through charity shops, we all want to improve our shopping habits.
And ASOS has just made it a whole lot easier, by teaming up with Oxfam, Barnardo’s and TRAID to launch three charity shop boutiques.
Sitting on ASOS’ vintage and independent section, ASOS Marketplace, you can find a range of one-of-a-kind items for as little as €16.65.
Taking to their Instagram to explain the process, ASOS Marketplace said: “You did a spring clear out and donated a few bags of clothes to charity. Specialist teams rifled through them, and thousands of others, to select the highest quality one-offs.
“They were cleaned, re-conditioned, photographed and then uploaded on to site for other people to find and treasure all over again!’
Available now, there will be more vintage-styles dropping throughout the summer so you can get your charity shop fix at any time.
TRAID’s boutique specialises in vintage clothes and accessories, with the charity’s Commercial Director, Enedina Columbano, saying: “Expect a highly curated collection featuring one-off pieces, limited edition hand-printed tees and 80s, 90s and Y2K gems.”
The best bit is that 100% of proceeds go straight to the three charities.
