Kid Cudi and Adidas announce a new collaboration. Adidas have announced a new collection with Kid Cudi.
The collection, which was rumoured since posters were seen in New York and Los Angeles, will include footwear and apparel.
The ‘Surfin’ rapper announced to his 1.1m Instagram followers that he is teaming up with Adidas by sharing a picture of a feminine half-head with a burning moon inside, which will become the logo for all upcoming adidas x Kid Cudi products.
At the bottom of the image was the website address adidas.com/kidcudi but no other information.
This is the second time Adidas and Kid Cudi have collaborated following last year’s ‘Asterisk Collective’ project, which included trainers and a mental health awareness campaign.
The Asterisk Collection is a platform that empowers creative partners to impact communities all over the world through their own initiatives.
Cudi joins Kanye West and Beyonce in Adidas’ celebrity collaborator. Beyonce announced her partnership with the sportswear giant and will relaunch her activewear clothing line Ivy Park, after cutting ties with Topshop.
