Georgia May Jagger named as new face of Kurt Geiger. Model, Georgia May Jagger has been named as the face of Kurt Geiger’s new campaign with photography taken by celebrity photographer Erik Torstensson.

The British born model who is the daughter of Rolling Stone rocker, Mick Jagger and American fashion model Jerry Hall, teamed up with the British high street footwear & accessory company for their high summer ‘Characterful Style’ campaign, which was shot by celebrity photographer Erik Torstensson.

Their new campaign shows Georgia kitted out in items from Kurt Geiger’s latest fashion and accessory wear that included their Maiden sandals and Raffia Kensington Bag which incidentally is their fastest selling bag to date.

Jagger follows in the footsteps of a long line of other major British celebrities, who in the past have featured in Kurt Geiger’s advertisements that include fashion blogger Susie Lau, TV presenter Maya Jama, British rapper Not3s and fashion journalist Julia Hobbs.

This news comes as a follow up to Georgia featuring on the cover of Carnaby’s sustainability-themed issue to promote the conservation of the world’s oceans. The 27-year old fashion model featured for the magazine which teamed up with Shaftesbury and Project 0, for a new initiative which has been created to protect and clean up the world’s oceans.

Jagger is an ambassador for the conservation organisation revealed that she was proud to appear in the “sustainability” issue because she is conscious of the harm we are causing to the oceans of the world.

In a statement released by the fashion model, Georgia said: “I am so proud to be on the cover of Carnaby magazine and representing both Bleach and Project 0. As one of the owners of Bleach, we are always looking to improve the sustainability of our business. “It really is the lifeblood of our brand. I am really happy to be a part of an area of London that takes sustainability as seriously as we do at Bleach, and that I, as a Project 0 Ambassador, incorporate into my daily life.”
