How pregnancy changed Amy Schumer’s beauty routine. If you’ve watched Amy Schumer’s latest comedy special on Netflix, Growing, you know that she hasn’t been having the easiest time being pregnant.
During the one-hour show, the mother-to-be speaks about her experience with motherhood and pregnancy in detail, revealing that she suffers from extreme morning sickness and has the same due date as Meghan Markle.
The comedian said: “I didn’t know that being pregnant could be really hard. Women don’t tell you how hard it is. I should’ve Googled it.”
But it looks like Schumer has been doing her research, as one thing she has picked up on is embracing a clean beauty routine.
The 37-year-old actress – who is expecting her first child with husband Chris Fischer – has partnered with Beautycounter, after being introduced to the clean beauty brand by her friend, Shea, a Beautycounter consultant.
Speaking in a video collaboration for the brand, she said: “Now, that it wasn’t just me taking care of my dirtbag self, there’s also a baby living in me, I should be conscious of the products I’m using.”
And of course, the brand is happy to have this A-list support, with CEO and Founder of Beautycounter, Gregg Renfrew saying in a press statement: “We’ve never been a celebrity-driven brand, but when we heard Amy wanted to help support our mission and our consultants, we knew it would be a fun and impactful partnership.”
Amy has been poking fun at her pregnancy on her Instagram, posting a picture of her and her husband walking in the park, with the caption: “Amy Schumer And Chris Fischer set pulses racing while the heavily pregnant Schumer flaunts her growing bump. Amy is still pregnant and puking because money rarely goes to medical studies for women such as hyperemesis or endometriosis and instead goes to things like dicks not getting hard enough or old guys who want harder dicks. 👴 👍🏼🤮
