The singer has announced a new partnership with the sportwear giant to relaunch her activewear clothing line Ivy Park, after cutting ties with Topshop.
She will also release exclusive footwear and clothing with Adidas.
In a statement, Beyonce said: “This is the partnership of a lifetime for me. Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries.
“We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”
Beyonce co-founded Ivy Park with Topshop owner, Philip Green, and launched the company in 2016.
However, Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment gained full control of the brand after Green was accused of sexual and racial harassment.
Though Ivy Park will be relaunched through Adidas, the company is not purchasing the brand, with them saying in a press release: “This partnership respects Beyoncé’s ownership of her company.”
An executive board member of Adidas, Eric Liedtke, said of the partnership: “As the creator sports brand, Adidas challenges the status quo and pushes the limits of creativity through its open source approach. Beyoncé is an iconic creator but also a proven business leader, and together, we have the ability to inspire change and empower the next generation of creators.”
