Lourdes Leon models Jean Paul Gaultier X Supreme. After getting a teaser for the upcoming Supreme collection with fashion legend Jean Paul Gaultier, we have our first look at Lourdes Leon modelling one of the looks.
Via Vogue’s Instagram account, the model – and daughter of Madonna – is seen sporting a pair of trousers with pixelated graphics and the phrase ‘Fuck Racism’ along with a stripped suit jacket and a ‘Gaultier Supreme’ belt.
Speaking about the collaboration, Gaultier told Vogue: “I have been including elements of sportswear in my collections from the very beginning. It has been one of my codes and my obsessions, I even developed a line ‘Junior Gaultier’ at the end of the 1980s [with that focus]. With Supreme, this inspiration will find its way to a new generation.”
Fans of Madonna may recall her close relationship with Gaultier, who designed the costumes for her 1990 ‘Blond Ambition’ tour, including the Queen of Pop’s imfamous cone bra.
Giving the hype of most Supreme collections, this one is sure to sell out quickly – so have your browser ready or prepare to wait in line on April 11th.
