Kate Moss was stunned recently when a schoolboy in the United States asked her for cocaine on the street.

Supermodel and on-off missus of Pete Doherty is visiting the US to help launch her range of Topshop clothing at Barney's department store in New York. She was returning to her hotel when a schoolboy started shouting to her across the street.

Moss ignored him, and he retorted with: "Can I at least have some coke?"

The remarks refer to a famed 2005 incident when Moss was shown in images forwarded to British newspapers, appearing to snort cocaine.
