A new book claims that Warren Beatty slept with more than 12,000 women in his lifetime.
The book, Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America, written by Peter Biskind, claims that the 72-year-old actor slept with a crazy amount of women but really has no proof of it, and really, the author pulled the number out of his ass.
Biskind told the New York Post that he came up with the number by “Using simple arithmetic,” but doesn’t say exactly what simple arithmetic that is exactly.
But what he does say is that Beatty banged, and I quote: “12,775 women, give or take, a figure that does not include daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on.”
Beatty’s attorney Bertram Fields says that the book was unauthorized and is basically full of lies. Says Fields: “Mr. Biskind’s tedious and boring book on Mr. Beatty was not authorized by Mr. Beatty and should not be published as an authorized biography. It contains many false assertions and purportedly quotes Mr. Beatty as saying things he never said. Other media should not repeat things from the book on the assumption that they are true or that the book is an authorized biography.”
Now, I am not doubting that Beatty slept with women in the 1000’s, BUT for someone to claim they, by using “simple arithmetic”, can estimate a number that comes close to the actual number of women that he slept with, is ridiculous. Besides this is old news. Weren’t people talking about this in the 70’s?
On another note, who thinks Warren was actually hot back in the day? He was kinda weird looking if you ask me. Weird looking and cocky. That always makes someone ugly in my eyes.
