From hypnotic midnight blue's to bright cobalt blue's and every shade inbetween, this colour was spotted on all runways at Fashion Week. I never really wear this colour (my school uniform was Navy) and I'm still haunted by the monotony that represented in my life!!!

But this season I say NO MORE, dazzled by the diversity in which this colour flashed up along all collections showcased for Fall/WInter 2012, I feel inspired to forget my school days and emerge into the deep blue waters of this fashion sea.

Stella McCartney allowed us feast on her creations for her Fall/Winter 2012 line, debuting these gorgeous dresses on the runway at Fashion Week. I LOVE the sublte flash of blue on the dress to the right.

While Victoria Beckham produced a show stopping, expertly tailored military style dress on the catwalk in New York, using a chocolate brown trim to emphasise the azur fabric used. This fashion goddess was later spotted wearing her own design, showing the world that she is a lady who can thow on a piece from her own collection and look as flawless as a catwalk model. The catwalk version was styled with chocolate brown boots, while VB glamed the same dress up by wrapping a thin brown belt around the waist and holding a brown leather clutch bag.
