I’m a 22 year woman for Ennis and my boyfriend is making fun of me because I’m upset because Westlife are splitting up. I cried the other night when I heard the news but my boyfriend just said I was being stupid and that Westlife were rubbish. I’ve followed Westlife since my early teens and loved most of their music but think my boyfriend is being very insensitive. Am I wrong?

Not at all and lots of people are devastated that Westlife are breaking up and it sounds to me that he is probably jealous of them like lots of young men seem to be.
Like them or loathe them they are still Irish and have represented our country very well and we ALL should be very proud of them as they seem very nice guys!!
You should wind your boyfriend up and tell him to style his hair like Shane has his or tell him to start dressing like Nicky, that will put manners on him and if not tell him your relationship won’t be “unbreakable” and not to come “home”, that will do the trick..
