Weeks Best Dressed

 White House Correspondents' Dinner

Hollywood was out in full force at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, hosted by Barack and Michelle Obama at the White House.

Kate Hudson was a vision in shimmering sequins at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in an indigo gown by Jenny Packham accessorised with an Edie Parker box clutch and we loved Ginnifer Goodwin’s incredible H&M gown, complete with its cascading ruffles and leather waist-cincher – proof that high street can definitely be black tie. Elizabeth Banks also looked divine in this tomato red Antonio Berardi gown.

Dakota Fanning was simply stunning in an embellished gown by Prada. The ice-coloured gown boasted a plunging back and a cut-out décolletage. Elle Mcphersan is jaw-dropping in a glossy Romona Keveza gown and Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman is her label's best advert in this gorgeous embellished slip.

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria went short and sweet in Marchesa while Kerry Washington worked a simple Calvin Klein column, how gorgeous is this peach hue on her? Reese Witherspoon swathed her blooming bump in an asymmetrical gown by Monique Lhuillier. We love the flash of colour courtesy of her emerald earrings.

The name on everyone's lips, model Kate Upton covers up those infamous curves and still blows the competition out of the water. Zooey Deschanel is beauty personified in classic Oscar de la Renta and Rachel Zoe was uber-chic in a tiered nude gown by Valentino.

White is an unforgiving shade at the best of times, never mind a white playsuit. This means nothing to Irina Shayk. She looks incredible as always. Ivanka Trump takes glamour to a whole new level in a beautiful Naeem Khan gown. And last but definitely not least, the adorable Uggie the dog from The Artist looks splendid in his mini tux.

Parties And Events

Cameron Diaz flaunted her incredibly long legs on the Jay Leno show in an LBD by Stella McCartney, accessorised with gold platform shoes and matching jewellery. Looking every inch the Hollywood star in a leather trim Christopher Kane dress to appear on The Tonight Show, Chloe Moretz later changed into a pretty Dolce & Gabbana floral gown with nude heels.

Eva Mendes attended a Pantene party in a fit-and-flare yellow dress and strappy black sandals. Freida Pinto opted for a tomato red Gucci ensemble at the Tribeca Film Festival. Proof that a suit can look anything but boring! January Jones wowed in an off-the-shoulder dress by London Fashion Week star Mary Katrantzou, which featured the season’s two biggest trends: graphic print and a peplum.

James Franco and Solange Knowles make a very stylish duo and Dita Von Teese was a knockout at the launch of her self-titled perfume in a plunging bronze gown. J-Lo showcased her amazing curves in a two-toned shift dress by Lanvin, topped off with a bejewelled snake wrapped around her neck!

Receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of fame, Scarlett Johansson wore a monochrome Preen number and poppy red peep-toes to the event. Paris Hilton actually looks stylish for a change and Kim Kardashian was pretty in a blush shell top and black cigarette trousers, finished off with a Hermes Birkin bag and Jimmy Choo cage sandals.

Jessica Alba makes the Geek Chic look her own in a grey jumper with a collar and sequined tie teamed with printed trousers and toe-cap courts. Lea Michele worked the season’s top-to-toe white trend at the Glee Academy event in a Jenni Kaye skirt and top finished off with silver strappy sandals by Giambattista Valli and Sarah Jessica Parker was pretty at the High Line party in New York in a turquoise shift dress, topped off with a yellow biker jacket.

Olivia Wilde filmed her latest ad for Revlon in a LWD finished off with neutral accessories. Model Hilary Rhoda is a big ray of sartorial sunshine in her Zara blazer and skinny jeans combo and it’s not exactly breaking new style ground but Mila Kunis' airport ensemble is still perfection!
