Week's Best Dressed

Blake Lively pulls out all the stops on the promotional trail for her new movie Savages while Miranda Kerr gives us a lesson in off duty dressing. See who else made it in to this week’s best dressed! 

Making more than a welcome return to the red carpet to promote new movie Savages, Blake Lively has been wowing us all week with her amazing red carpet style. First up Blake channelled old Hollywood glamour In a jaw-dropping Zuhair Murad illusion dress, Veronica Lake curls and hot red lipstick at the premiere of her new movie.

Next up Blake rocked two jewelled white dresses in one day for an appearance on The Late Show! Blake arrived at the show in a pale blush Jenny Packham number with beaded detailing around the neck and cuffs, later swapping her pale gown for a crisp white Marchesa dress to chat with the show’s host David Letterman, Blake kept a little hint of sparkle in her look, with her embellished Christian Louboutin pumps. 

Later on in the week Blake worked five (yes, five!) gorgeous looks in one day on the promo trail for Savages. Blake kicked off her stylish day in a flame red Michael Kors suit and strappy Christian Louboutin heels for an appearance on Good Morning America. A quick change later and Blake attended the Charlie Rose show in New York in a floral panelled silk fit and flare dress with two-tone black and pink heels. 

Later in the day Blake was at the Savages photocall in an emerald and black lace Marios Schwab dress, loose flowing locks and cute Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.  And as the face of their newest fragrance, Blake later opted for a stunning one-of-a-kind pale yellow pleated silk halter-neck Gucci gown for the Savages premiere. We LOVE her turquoise earrings and cute fishtail braid.

Blake's dress finale came in the form of a stunning custom-made fuchsia baby-doll Lanvin dress, toughened up a little with nude spiked Christian Louboutin Alti heels. What a style pro!! 

Miranda Kerr also showed off her impeccable style on the streets of New York this week. I want every piece of Miranda’s summer street-chic closet now! First up Miranda was spotted out and about with baby Flynn in a white floral shirt and clash-print shorts. Accessorised to perfection with a pair of strappy flats and oversized sunnies! Miranda then flashed her perfect pins in cute printed shorts for the second day in a row. This time around the Victoria’s Secret model sported Stella McCartney’s paisley hotpants with a crisp sleeveless blouse and Miu Miu’s octagon shades.

Next up the stunning supermodel was spotted in her indigo printed jeans, silk vest and wide-brimmed fedora. Finally Miranda sported Stella McCartney’s designs for the second time this week, this time hitting the streets in a polka-dot blouse and high-waisted white jeans by the designer. We can’t get enough of her supermodel style!  

Emma Stone wrapped up her European tour of The Amazing Spider-Man in Rome in a sophisticated printed gown by Bottega Veneta complete with a ruffle collar, a waist-cinching belt and a carpet-sweeping train. Emma was then back in New York for her appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in skinny jeans teamed with a white blouse and classic black courts with a stone-coloured Burberry Trench coat. Classic! 

Emma later pulled out all the stops for the LA premiere of her movie, working this stunning white with red velvet embroidery Chanel Resort 2013 dress accessorised with neat Christian Louboutin Just Picks Sling 85 pumps. 

Victoria Beckham jetted into London this week in an uber-cool trench dress-cum-cape by Junya Watanabe for Comme Des Garcons and some killer booties. Later in the week Victoria was flying the flag for her own label at the Spice Girls reunion in London, where the fab five launched the musical inspired by the band, Viva For Ever. Victoria chose a military-style dress and envelope clutch from her main line, finished off with peep-toe Tom Ford knee-high boots. 

Michelle Williams was glowing this week at the Take This Waltz screening in NYC in a lace-up LBD by Joseph Altuzarra and contrasting white sandals by Givenchy. Zoe Saldana was in full muse mode at the launch of Prabal Gurung’s resort collection in a girly peplum blouse with red piping and printed floral silk shorts. 

Florence Welch stayed true to her Gothic style in this plunging semi-sheer number by Brit designer Julien Macdonald for the Britain Creates: Fashion and Art Gala in London. Also going for gothic chic was It-model Cara Delevingne who worked a semi-sheer black Chanel gown complete with ruffled sleeves to the Serpentine Summer Party. 

Also attending was Amber Le Bon who was stunning in this combination of green and nude. We’ll definitely be trying this. Kristen Bell worked the printed trousers trend in a chic pair teamed with silk top and strappy sandals to match.

Katy Perry celebrated the release of her new 3D film Part Of Me in a gorgeous red velvet dress and heels while Rose Byrne sizzled in a divine ice-white Valentino Fall 2012 long-sleeved dress at the Damages Season 5 premiere. 

Alexa Chung wowed at Wimbledon in a cute halterneck dress teamed with sunnies, tousled locks and an adorable pair of cherry-embellished sandals from Miu Miu and Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus get our vote for the hottest couple of the week.

Jessica Alba, was summer-ready in a pair of aqua jeans worn with a flowing white blouse, a multi-print scarf, fuchsia slippers and Rebecca Minkoff’s ethnic-style woven bag. Kate Bosworth also showed off her summer style in a fab printed summer dress teamed with luxe black accessories. Flawless!
