Victoria Beckham fever hit Brown Thomas today as the former Spice Girl arrived in Dublin for a ‘special customer event’, which saw her meet 50 loyal fans who have bought designs from her collection over the past two years. Those lucky enough to be attending the event were also treated to a special runway show featuring designs from Victoria's AW12 collection.
It was Victoria’s first trip to Brown Thomas and she kept fans up to date via twitter page (@victoriabeckham), even asking for advice about what to wear two days before the event.
‘So excited to be visiting @brownthomas in Dublin this week!!! What is the weather like?? what should I wear??? X’
Given the unpredictable nature of the Irish summer, Victoria sensibly opted for a statement black military style coat from her own Victoria Beckham collection. She paired the coat with a simple mini black dress, minimal accessories and black patent heels. Her hair was teased into an on trend messy braid (her favourite look at the moment), she finished off her look with her signature smokey eye and dark nail polish.
Victoria tweeted images of herself having her hair and makeup tweaked before the event began no doubt heightening fans excitement as they waited to catch a glimpse of the star.

Despite the fact that Victoria was only jetting in for a short visit she couldn’t resist bringing along her adorable one year old daughter Harper. In true Beckham style Harper was immaculately dressed from head to toe. The youngest member of the Beckham family wore a navy dress with red detailing, matching red socks, navy shoes and a hair band.

Brown Thomas was one of the first nine stores worldwide to stock Beckham’s clothes worldwide and the label is now one of the top performers in the Irish store. When asked about her visit, Victoria said she likes to get to know as many of her retail partners as possible "and just meet the ladies that are buying my dresses.”
Brown Thomas stock Victoria’s original Victoria Beckham label which ranges from €1,200 to €2,550, as well as her Victoria, Victoria Beckham label and her accessories line.
