You would wonder if Hollywood actor is actually going to have a happy birthday given that national media are reporting that his little girl Suri faced tough questioning at a Scientology “boot camp” It’s less than a week now since his wife Katie Holmes filed papers to divorce the Top Gun star. Tom who turns 50 today is supposed to be “dumb-struck” by Katie’s decision to end their marriage. Katie was seen out and about yesterday for the first time since her announcement. The subdued actress was not too keen to show that she was not wearing a wedding ring.

KATIE LOOKING TIRED AND SUBDUED

The divorce was apparently sparked by Katie’s fears that Tom was about to induct their 6 year old daughter Suri, to a strictly run Sea Ocean, Scientology “boot camp” where youngsters are quizzed by leaders with questions that include, Have you ever gotten yourself dirty on purpose or have you ever felt ashamed of your parents. Another bizarre question included , Have you ever done something to your body that you shouldn't have?

HAPPIER DAYS FOR TOM, KATIE AND SURI

Tom Cruise is said to be a big supporter of the Sea Organisation, known as Sea Org. It was founded by Scientology creator L Ron Hubbard back in 1968 and run off-shore from boats and yachts. Katie Holmes who was brought up as a Catholic is seeking sole custody of Suri so she can oversee her upbringing. Katie and Suri have since fled Hollywood and are now living in New York while Tom celebrates his birthday in Iceland with the Beckhams.
