Move over, Mila Kunis, your time is up!  There is a new Miss Dior on the block in the form of Jennifer Lawrence and right now, she is hot stuff!

The Hunger Games star has become the new face of Christian Dior fronting the Miss Dior handbag campaign that will hit the shelves in magazines everywhere in spring next year. This is the first time that the 22-year-old has worked for a major fashion house but as British Vogue’s cover girl this month, she’s got plenty of practice modeling.

The French fashion house has a long history of using Hollywood’s biggest stars in their advertisements including Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron. Speculation about this deal has been in the grapevine since Lawrence was seen at Dior’s couture show in July where newly appointed creative director of women’s wear Raf Simons had his debut collection for the brand.

Lawrence released a statement saying, “I'm very excited at the idea of working with Dior and wearing Raf Simons' new creations. His debut ready-to-wear and haute couture have distilled all the glamour of Dior into the modern era”.

While the X-Men First Class actress has never worked with a luxury brand before, she is no stranger to Dior and wore a Dior dress to the Toronto International Film Festival where her film Silver Linings Playbook won the top audience award.
