Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian Launch Khroma Beauty Makeup Line
In case your Kardashian clothes, swimwear, perfume, and home décor weren’t enough, luckily, you can soon get your hands on the sisters’ new makeup line, Khroma Beauty.
Kim took to her blog to announce the range, which she said was a "dream come true". She wrote: "Growing up we would play with my mom's make-up and from a young age I always wanted to be a make-up artist! "Of course now make-up plays such a huge role in all of our lives, whether we're on camera, at a shoot glammed up or just keeping it natural day to day, and it's a dream come true to be able to create our own line of products to share with you guys. We can't wait!"
While some of their collaborations are head-scratching, this one actually makes sense. The ladies, particularly Kim, always sport impeccably made-up faces, which could be the most “aspirational” thing about them. The beauty range will hit stores just in time for the Christmas rush in December this year, and will expand in 2013. According to their press release, the beauty line will bring a “luxury feel and quality to the mass customer, with exquisite formulas to emulate the eyes, lips and complexion looks for which the Kardashian sisters are famous”.
The products look beyond amazing! First up, we have the Honey Pots (a lip conditioner) : “Dip into the honey pot for a soft bee stung pout,” There’s also a mascara called “The Quickie,” an eye shadow stick called “Double Up,” an illuminator called “Intimate,” a lipstick called “Joystick,” and a gloss called “Honey Stick.” The Kardashians have also come up with a genius solution for carrying your new lipgloss. Meet the Beretta, a “lipgloss holster/garter. We love this idea! There’s even a mask called the “Million Dollar Mask” which is formulated with real 24K gold powder. As for the prices, it seems that these goodies will be affordable. "Kourtney, Kim and Khloé wanted to share their access to luxury formulas with their fans and our goal was to provide a prestige product range at very accessible prices," said Robin Coe-Hutshing, creative director of Khroma Beauty.
