See What Everyone Wore to the 2012 CFDA Awards

Designers, models, and celebrities alike filed into New York's Lincoln Center for the 2012 CFDA Awards Monday night to honour the most talented fashion designers of the year (Basically The CFDA Awards are the fashion world’s version of the Oscars!) Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen beat off stiff competition from the more-established Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler to win the accolade of Womenswear Designer of the Year. Johnny Depp also received the Fashion Icon Award. Unfortunately, the “Dark Shadows” actor was unable to make the ceremony due to filming, but did make history as the first male to ever receive the coveted prize. The night’s other big winners were Billy Reid for menswear and Reed Krakoff for accessories. Joseph Altuzarra, Phillip Lim, and Tabitha Simmons all snagged Swarovski Awards for Emerging Talent.
