Songstress Taylor Swift hasn’t been out of the gossip pages much since she began stepping out with Conor Kennedy (RFK’s grandson) and while the column inches are primarily focused on her romance with her new beau and the rumoured feuding with his family, we are far more interested in Swift’s new retro style.

Gone is the boho look and in is Cape Cod chic. We can’t get enough of her multitudes of polka dot attire, cute halter-neck dresses, high waisted shorts, tan brogues and snazzy shades – an absolute necessity when on the arm of a Kennedy.

Taylor’s love affair with retro style started while on a vacay with Conor and the Kennedy clan at Cape Cod, when she was seen wearing a Fifities style polka dot bathing suit. Since then she’s been spotted round Hyannisport in flowing floral skirts, kitten heels and her ever present brown satchel. With summer shifting to autumn she’s adapted her look for the changing temperature. Last week she was spotted in a Letterman jacket, mustard shorts and tan brogues complete with a guitar case. Romance does a wardrobe good... and  if it all ends up in a characteristic break up song, she’ll at least have that gorgeous wardrobe to console herself with.

Even if it’s a tad chillier over here you can still work elements of Taylor’s look into your everyday wardrobe this autumn.
