The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister has rarely been out of the spotlight since she made headlines in a figure-hugging McQueen dress as maid of honour to her famous sister.

Over the past year, Pippa has enjoyed all the privileges of a British fashion icon, including a seat in the esteemed front row at London Fashion Week.

Personally I was always a bigger fan of the more edgy British look, synonymous with Alexa Chung and the iconic Kate Moss (thanks to her “get the London look” catchphrase as the face of Rimmel). I was never overly keen on the polished, tailored trend. But then along came Kate Middleton who breathed life into the Sloaney style and successfully changed my mind. By giving the classic look her own contemporary twist, she is the ultimate modern-day princess.

And her sister Pippa isn’t far behind in the style stakes. The 28-year-old party planner recently attended the wedding of her close friend Camilla Hook to Sam Holland in Aberlady, Scotland, and wore a raspberry red version of the iconic ‘Forever’ dress by Issa that Kate wore to officially announce her engagement to Prince William. She accessorised with a black and red fascinator, black clutch bag and black heels. Her brunette hair resembled her sister’s trademark style of tumbling curls.

Much of the attention at the wedding was directed towards Pippa, who has now unintentionally gained a reputation for upstaging brides on their big day!
