Sheryl Crow believes that over usage of her mobile phone is to blame for her brain tumor. Crow, who turned 50 back in February of this year, appeared on Katie Couric's US Television show and said the tumor is located in her "cell phone area" ... and says, "I do have the theory that it's possible that it's related to cell phone use."

However, Sheryl did admit her theory has not been confirmed by any doctor or specialist, but admitted that in the past she did spend excessive time on her mobile phone and claimed the symptoms of the tumor at one point lead her to believe she was at the early stages of developing Alzheimer’s disease.

After, being diagnosed with a benign tumor that is located between her skull and the lining of her brain, Crow told Katie the tumor is "nothing I have to worry about" but says it's important to monitor the situation.
