RONAN UNHURT AFTER INCIDENT

Ex- Boyzone frontman, Ronan Keating was grabbed by a drunken reveller in a late-night bust-up backstage at the Isle of Wight Festival last Sunday night. The north Dublin star now 35, shoved the man away as he tried to lift him off his feet before security staff stepped in. A source close to Keating confirmed the incident took place but claimed Ronan was the innocent party and it was just a drunken messer trying to be funny, much to the dismay of Keating.

Security personnel escorted the man from the site after the brief incident and Ronan went on to enjoy the rest of the night and partied until the early hours with friends. Keating was not performing himself but attended the festival to see legend rocker Bruce Springsteen. Ronan is expected to join a host of stars from the world of the Hollywood screen, entertainment, and sport at the Irish Open Pro-Am at Royal Portrush Golf Club tomorrow
