A happy and relieved Robbie Williams was jumping for joy yesterday as the Take That singer became a dad for the first time. The 38 year olds wife, Ayda, 33, gave birth in a private London hospital to their beautiful little daughter who they have named “Theodora Rose".

ROBBIE IS OVERJOYED AT BECOMING A DADDY

Robbie sent a message out on his official blog saying “Praise be, it’s Theodora Rose Williams, affectionately known as Teddy..... Born 3.33pm on 18.9.12, 7Ibs 4oz”. Robbie who played the Dublin O2 last Friday night had a private jet on stand-by, just in case Ayda went into labour, where he would have had to make a mad dash for it, as he was adamant that he wanted to be there for the birth of his first child. Ayda and Robbie moved back to the UK from LA last month as he has expressed he wants his daughter to be brought up in the UK. He  also wanted his parents around during their grandchild’s upbringing and can’t wait to enjoy a proper family Christmas at home in the UK
