Rihanna’s Workout Secrets Revealed! 

 

Rihanna showed off her amazing body on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards over the weekend and once again reminded us that the 23-year-old singer has undoubtedly one of the best bodies in the entertainment industry, and her personal trainer Harley Pasternak says she's working hard to keep it that way. The 23-year-old singing legend is kept to a strict regime where she has to work out at least three times a week for a minimum of 25 minutes.  

Her trainer created what he calls the “5 Factor” program that Rihanna uses to keep in shape. Even when she is touring away from home, she tries to do at least three, 25-minute workouts a week. Off the road, “she’s been really focused and stepped it up,” Pasternak says. That usually means working out five days a week and increasing her cardio training to 30 minutes a day from 10. For the singer that means, biking or cycling, jumping rope without a rope, stationary jogging and jumping jacks. “She can do those in a hotel room or backstage before a show,” Pasternak says.

Rihanna also tries to eat five small meals a day, but often “gets salty cravings,” the trainer says. When that happens she eats Pasternak’s high-protein, bean-based 5 Factor chips. “They’ve been a big hit with our music and entertainment clients,” says the trainer, whose team also works with stars such as Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. “She looks amazing,” says Pasternak of Rihanna. “She keeps getting better and better!”

Almost sounds achievable for us mere mortals... minimum of three times a week? If Rihanna can achieve that body with a couple extra meals and a few jumping jacks then we're going to give it a go... Wonder how many jumping jacks it will take to look like her? Her personal trainer also told People.com: "She's got such a beautiful body naturally. With someone like her, it's about the fine tuning."

Regardless of what her secret is, Rihanna has mastered projecting a healthy body image for her young fans with her lithe but very healthy figure and looks incredible in every photo she takes as she proved recently on a girl’s holiday to Hawaii. Rihanna we salute you!
