Well now I honestly do not know how I feel about these Prada, so far beyond fashion forward that they are jetting out of our atmosphere pieces. There is no doubt that the moment these 50s hotrod stilettos and colorful boxy leather handbags hit Prada's Spring 2012 runway you could hear a pin drop, that is to say if the music was not booming and the ‘clip-clop’ of the models feet were not shimmying along.  You could also envision those waiting lists overflowing with on trend names, bloggers and fashionistas alike.  Even Cathy Horyn appeared somewhat taken by the unusual, to say the least, pieces on offer.  She in fact humorously suggested wearing the “purely silly” heels on your next Match.com date. She further complemented the collection for its “machismo” against a sea of worn-out ’20s frocks.

So below is Prada’s quirky, definitely fun, spring shoes and accessories for you to consider how you feel about them.  You may not want to buy them but they are certainly artistic and fun to look at. It’s certainly nice to realize the level of detail and almost architectural feel the brand appears to be going with, such as the brake lights and flames zooming off of the metal stiletto heels or the clutches with fender clasps.  Well if Miu Miu can opt for all over glitter booties then why can’t Prada go a little fashion crazy also and step way outside of the box.
