With what has been an amazing Olympics so far, London is gearing up for an amazing closing ceremony with some of the biggest names in the world of entertainment taking part.

THE SPICE GIRLS REHEARSING YESTERSDAY

The Spice Girls were spotted rehearsing on the top of specially adapted London cabs and all 5 of the girls, Emma Bunton,36, Victoria Beckham, 38, Mel C 38, Gerri Halliwell, the eldest of the crew at 40 and Mel B, 37, performed their hits of the past to delighted on-looking security staff at the Ford car plant in Dagenham, London yesterday.

 HEADLINE ACT, GEORGE MICHAEL

With performing slots secured for George Michael, Brian May, Annie Lennox, One Direction, Madness, there will even be an appearance from Del and Rodney from the Iconic TV series Only Fools & Horses who will appear as Batman & Robin in their yellow, 3 wheeled van.

The closing ceremony will see the Olympic flame being extinguished and the torch handed to Rio de Janeiro, which will host the 2016 Games. London should be congratulated for the manner in which it played host to all countries taking part with our very own Katie Taylor securing gold yesterday and boxers Paddy Barnes, John Joe Nevin and Michael Conlan all fighting for medals later today.
