Season Five of hit TV show Mad Men left us wondering if Don Draper was getting set to do the dirty on wife Megan when he was seen eyeballing a female in a bar in the last scene of the series but if the latest pictures from Season Six are anything to go by the couple are still going strong.

Star of the show Jon Hamm who plays Draper was seen filming scenes with on-screen wife Megan (played by Jessica Pare) in the lush surroundings of Hawaii in retro style beachwear. Hamm was clad in very un-Draperesque red paisley swimshorts, aviators and flip flops while the gorgeous Pare was channelling Sixties chic in a bright print bikini, floppy hat and rounded shades. Later she was spotted alone on the shore in a multi patterned kaftan. Hamm was also snapped standing next to a bride and minister - and the question on everyone's lips is, who is getting hitched and what is Don Draper doing there?

Show creator Matt Weiner has remained tight lipped on season six spoilers, but eagle eyed fans have already suggested elements such as the costuming and Don's book title could be clues to the year and events taking place next season. While we know Mr and Mrs Draper survive a little while longer many believe that the pairing will eventually go the same way as Don and Betty. In a recent interview with TV Line Weiner said of the couple:

"He loves her, and he gave her what she wanted. I don’t know that the marriage is over. If you go back to the beginning of the season … and hear her talking about wanting to be an actress, you realize this is where it ended up, how driven she was. Not that she used him, but that he gave this to her."

Mad Men will return to our screens in 2013.
