BAFTA winner, Brendan O’Carroll and his crew were in town on Wednesday complete with their BAFTA to lend support to Charity 25 at the Carton House in Kildare. Mrs Brown who is patron to Charity 25 along with all of the cast members of hit TV show Mrs Brown Boys jetted into Ireland to play golf with a host of celebrity friends to raise money and awareness for Charity 25. Speaking at the evening gala dinner, Brendan stressed the fact of how important it is to look after charities in Ireland and that Charity 25’s €2WILLDO text campaign is the easiest and simplest way that anyone can donate money to 25 Irish national charities all in one go.

Charity 25 which is sponsored by petfood.ie, is a not-for-profit Irish registered charity that is run by professional volunteers to ensure that every penny raised via their €2WILLDO text campaign is divided equally out to their 25 Irish national charities. Unlike any other normal fundraising text fundraising campaign, €1.94 of every €2.00 raised is divided between all of the charities with the remaining €0.06 cent being made up of government charges & taxes. Brendan was joined on the night by his own family as well as his beautiful wife Jenny who was also playing golf on the day.

The Mrs Brown legend went onto to say “Charity 25 is great because all charity members must show exactly how they spend their money given to them by Charity 25 so it brings total accountability and transparency to exactly how donor’s money is being spent”.
