If Kate Middleton is the unofficial spokesperson for Issa and McQueen, then Irish designer Natalie B. Coleman has found her unofficial celebrity clothes horse in Welsh songstress Marina Diamandis, better known as Marina and the Diamonds.
The County Monaghan-based designer first tweeted her delight in May when the Primadonna singer shared a photo of herself on Twitter wearing a navy dress from Natalie’s “All the Jewellery I Never Got” collection.
“Check out MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS in NATALIEBCOLEMAN S/S12 after her concert in Madrid on SUNDAY x”

Again in June, Natalie shared another photo on Facebook of Marina wearing another of her creations, whilst being interviewed for a German TV programme.

And just recently, Marina herself tweeted her latest press release photograph, along with the caption: “New Press Photo: ALL THE DIAMONDS I NEVER GOT”, combining her stage name with the name of Natalie’s collection.
The designer did not hide her delight at this by excitedly tweeting: “See how Fabulous Marina and the Diamonds looks in NATALIEBCOLEMAN S/S12 in her new press release pic! X”

Marina’s style has changed to coincide with the release of her latest album, Electra Heart, which reached number one in both the Irish and UK charts.
Formerly a fan of sequins and bright colours, she is now a bigger fan of pastels and softer shades – but still likes a little bling thrown into the mix. This makes Natalie’s collection perfect for her.
