American songstress Lana Del Rey was recently crowned GQ’s Woman of the Year, and has marked the occasion quite memorably. The sultry singer-songwriter has gone from being completely clad in H&M as the face of the Swedish brand, to posing nude for the cover and a spread in the Men of the Year issue of the magazine.

The 26-year-old appears on the cover, wearing nothing but diamond and sapphire jewellery and her trademark red lipstick. Throughout the spread, she is also seen in one photo wearing nothing but a white sweater, and another suggestive shot with an unseen male, who she later identified as GQ's creative director, Paul Solomons.

On acceptance of the award at the GQ party last week, Del Rey said: “I really am thankful to everyone at GQ because they’ve been supporting me for a while, and we had a beautiful shoot in Monaco, and I had a really interesting interview, for a change, and I was reminded of why I love to sing, and why I wanted to become a writer.”

Boy George, who introduced her at the awards, gushed about her, saying she was ‘adorable’ and ‘beautiful’, and even comparing her voice to that of Marilyn Monroe and Roy Orbison.

This particular issue of GQ is currently on sale.
