Lace Shorts

Lace shorts are everywhere this Summer and we can't get enough of them!

Shorts are a summer staple and they can take you almost anywhere but what is a little unexpected each year is all the colours, prints and styles they come in. Our favourite style this season from all the different options out there is the lace short. They’re fun and flirty and light for summer, while adding the perfect touch of sophistication. They’re also the most comfortable piece to wear during the summer heat, the flowy and light material will keep you cool in the summer breeze (if we ever get one!)

Lace shorts are easy to style, just throwing on a basic tee or tank is sufficient enough since the shorts make a statement on their own. Eyelet or lace shorts are also the ultimate in femininity and look great for a more dressy style, simply add a chic blouse and a pair of nude heels for a finished look. And don’t worry—this must have trend is an easy one to bring to your own closet while keeping your wallet happy. You can get them from any of your favourite brands at a price that fits your budget, in colours that suit your style, whether that means neutral and chic or a fun pop of colour.

My only tip when wearing crochet or lace shorts is to be careful with what shoes you pair them with, sometimes, depending on the garment, the white ones especially, tend to look a bit like pyjamas.  So make sure to pair them with something other than flip flops so it doesn’t look as if you´ve just rolled out of bed!
