We all know that the US love their talent shows and they’re bringing back the X Factor this year with a serious twist: two celebrity hosts!

Although its sad to say goodbye to the British contingent as Steve Jones will not be hosting he second season of X Factor USA but there are some much bigger stars in the pipeline. We all know Mario Lopez from Saved by the Bell fame amongst others but the big surprise this year is none other than reality star Khloe Kardashian Odom from E!’s Keeping Up with The Kardashians!

Tuesday night saw the youngest Kardashian sister make the news official on Twitter by tweeting ‘The rumors are true…I will be hosting @TheXFactorUSA this season’ and speaking on her blog, she admitted she has always been a fan of the show.

Fellow new host Mario Lopez is also very excited to work saying, “Khloé and I have been friends for years and I know we'll be a great team and have a blast”. Simon Cowell confirmed the news today and said the hosts will debut on the lives shows starting next month.

This is the latest in a string of changes for the show this year as Demi Lovato and Britney Spears join the panel after the departure of Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger who left to judge on the X Factor.
