When it comes to fashion these royal ladies had/have it in bucket loads. However, recently I have grown tired of seeing the same old classic look on K Mid, since her marriage to Prince William it seems that her own personal fashion choices have taken a back seat. And now we are inundated with pictures of the albeit gorgeous Kate in the same style dresses over and over again.
In my opinion, Kate looks just as publicly acceptable in jeans, flats and a teeshirt...even in a simple knited jumper dress and boots, than she does in those annoying mid-length dresses that we are shown time and time again. We must not forget this royal lady is still a young woman, and I feel although, of course, she radiates grace and beauty, she should be allowed to inject a bit of an edge into these mundane looks. For example: a wedge shoe instead of the court style shoe she often wears. Some, on trend accessorries, necklaces, bangles, belts.....anything to breathe life into those knee length dresses!!!!!! A boring clutch purse is just not cutting it for me.
This fashion boredom made me reminise on the fashion choices of the late great iconic Princess Diana. Now here is a lady who sometimes let the rebel streak shine through...and the public adored her for it. Hey style was always her own, she resisted the urge to conform...and she portrayed an image of a woman who although married into royalty and properness....certainly wasnt ruled by those standards. Edgy and individual, the public could see far behind those big doe eyes, into the fashionista's cheeky side....the royal family may not have approved the decolage flaunting dresses and tight figure hugging styles, but we lapped it up. Diana is a clear fashion winner in my book. But...i'll let you readers make up your own minds.
