Serial dater John Mayer was snapped out in New York this week with now confirmed girlfriend Katy Perry. The pair enjoyed an intimate dinner in the Big Apple this week to celebrate John's turning 35. The handsome crooner opted to spend his birthday evening with the gorgeous Katy rather than go on the tear with his male friends. As us girls know this kind of commitment is almost unheard of for Mayer.

The pair have been snapped out a lot lately, and look quite happy and carefree. Katy and John began dating in June of this year. The "Wide Awake" singer divorced ex-husband Russell Brand in July, the divorce was amicable and the pair have openly spoken fondly on their time as a married couple. Both parties agreed that irreconcilable differences casued their split. Mayer has been romantically linked to a number of famous ladies in the past like Jen Aniston, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Jessica Simpson, but alas none of these ladies proved to be the perfect fit for this romeo.

I guess time will tell if this loved up pair will go the distance. One thing is for sure, both are smoking hot, I can only hope marriage and kiddies are on the cards. With gene's as good as these it would be a crying shame if these lovebird's failed to procreate!
