Livia Firth is very fondly respected by the fashion world for her Green Carpet Challenge in 2009 but now she has heightened that respect by designing her own ethical line ‘Livia Firth Designs’. Within the challenge, which was cofounded with British journalist Lucy Siegle, Firth persuaded big-name creators such as Tom Ford, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Gucci and Stella McCartney to sign up.
Firth is currently creative director of eco-age.com, the shop within a shop on YOOX's shopping website Yooxygen. This vital and extremely impressive accomplishment is directed towards educating people on the importance of environmental awareness by collaborating with a variety of international brands, designers and talents.
When visiting the site, consumers can purchase from an amazing assortment of clothes and accessories Firth praises for their style and eco-sustainability, via the collection Eco Age by Livia Firth.
Adding her own line to the mix which will launch this September on YOOX, with items such as that much needed little black dress, except this one is made from organic wool with a vegetable tanned leather obi belt, two amazing styles of woolen cloche hat and a gorgeous hand-crafted butterfly necklace.
