Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton is set to join yummy mummies Holly Willoughby, Peaches Geldof and Sienna Miller as she prepares for her first child.

Fearne made the announcement last night via her website that she and her boyfriend Jesse Wood were expecting an addition to their family. Fearne has been dating musician Jesse, son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood for over a year. Jesse has two children from a previous relationship.

The couple began dating just two months after Fearne called off her engagement to skateboarder Jesse Jenkins after a three year relationship.

Fearne tweeted ‘Jesse and I have some news’ and directed her followers to her own website where she had written

‘Jesse and I are very happy to announce we are having a baby. We are over the moon, morning sickness aside (me, not Jess) and looking forward to the little Cotton Woods arrival.’ 

There had been speculation that the bubbly blond presenter was pregnant as she was pictured wearing baggy jumpers and hiding her stomach with over sized handbags lately. e can’t wait to see what her maternity wardrobe entails.

Fearne, 30, has been long considered a style icon, with her indie, carefree fashion choices regularly topping best dressed lists. Aswell as presenting gigs on Top of the Pops, Radio 1 and Celebrity Juice, she has designed several collections for fashion retailer very.co.uk. Fearne has also gotten the seal of approval from Ronnie Wood who said‘She’s rock ‘n’ roll. I do wonder if she’ll become my daughter-in-law any time soon.’
