It’s cost him his marriage, it’s tarnished his clean boy image with millions of admirers around the world and now it’s emerged that Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is considering “quitting” the Church of Scientology for good. Cruise who was involved in a very public split from his now ex-wife, Katie Holmes earlier this year has told friends that if he quits the church then there is a good chance that he can strengthen his relationship with Katie and get more access to his daughter Suri.

The 50 year old “Top Gun” star has already seen other fellow celebrities, distance themselves from him because of his connections to the church and now reality seems to be hitting home with him about to quit the church for good.  Cruise, who was previously married to Australian actress, Nicole Kidman. has spent most of his time since the split with Katie, filming his new action movie “Oblivion” at locations across Europe and was even spotted in London last month , collecting an Indian from a takeaway and spent time chatting to fans. Holmes has always admitted that Tom was the “love of her life” and if he goes ahead and quits his links to Scientology, don’t be surprised if you see a lot more of Tom, Katie and daughter Suri, out and about together.
