JACKSON'S PLANNED "THIS IS IT" CONCERT DATE

Even after his untimely death, the King of pop, Michael Jackson is being slated and accused of all types of things, and leaked emails show how the promoters for the then planned “This Is It” tour at the O2 venue in London, thought the singer was an ‘emotionally paralyzed mess’ who had cracked under the pressure. A compiled dossier of internal emails by the promoters, AEG, were sent in the run-up to Jackson’s death in June 2009 and the months after. They were leaked ahead of an attempt by Lloyd’s of London, which insured the concerts, to void an €14 million euro cancellation policy which was taken out by promoter, AEG.

 

JACKSON WAS TORTURED BY THE MEDIA  ALL HIS LIFE

The most shocking email was sent back in March 2009, the day before the press conference to launch the “This Is It” tour in London. Randy Phillips, a promoter at AEG, went to Jackson’s hotel room and claims he found Jackson so drunk that he had to dress him because Michael was unable to do so himself. Phillips wrote to AIG company’s president Tim Leiweke: ‘MJ is locked in his room drunk and despondent. I’m trying to sober him up.’. Jackson, who spent his life “tortured” by the media is still undoubtedly, “The King of Pop” and even after his death with people trying to make money from Jackson’s name and brand, only goes to prove that he simply was a “pawn” in other people’s money making machine who had total disregard for Jackson’s own “well-being”.
