It’s only been two weeks since Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams tied the knot, and already he has been caught up in a sparring match with his ex-wife Kerry Katona.

In the lavish magazine spread on their wedding, Brian, 32, said he considered his marriage to model/DJ Vogue to be his ‘first’, saying that he had no idea what he was doing when he married Kerry in 2002.

“This is me getting married for the rest of my life – and a completely different life,” the Australia’s Got Talent judge announced. “I was eighteen or nineteen when I got married the first time…I had no idea what I was doing. It wasn’t until I was thirty that I turned into an adult.”

Kerry (who was 21 when she married Brian, who was in fact 22 at the time), hit back on Twitter, writing that she had no regrets about being married to the former Westlife singer, with whom she has two daughters, Molly, eleven, and Lilly Sue, nine.

“I will never let anyone take away my first marriage not even my ex husband!” she furiously posted. “We may have been young but I knew full well what I was doing!!! And never in a million years would I ever dismiss it, especially bringing two amazing children into it… Just want my children to know there (sic) were made with love and no regrets #eyeswideopen.”

Rather than leaving it at that, Brian then went on a full-blown rant on his Twitter page, dismissing his marriage to Kerry as ‘shambolic’.

“Some people just can’t let go of the past. Even if it destroys the future,” he fumed. “I love my kids but there (sic) the best thing in my life that came from that shambolic relationship. Now please f**k off and let me and my wife enjoy our life. With my two girls. And to everyone else. Mind your own business.”

“I’m sick of every time in my life I’m happy some p***k tries to destroy me,” he angrily added.

After splitting from Kerry, Brian was in a seven-year relationship with Australian actress/singer Delta Goodrem. Shortly after they broke up in 2011, Brian met Dublin native Vogue while she was DJing in a Donegal nightclub and thus began a whirlwind romance. After eight months together, they became engaged, and were married on September 2 in the picturesque Castello di Vincigliata, Tuscany. The guest-list included Ronan Keating and Dannii Minogue. 26-year-old Vogue wore a gown designed by Australian label J’Aton Couture.

Personally I don’t like how Brian and Kerry document their disputes on the internet for the entire world to see, especially as their daughters are of an age where they can easily access them. Hats off to Vogue for staying classy and remaining tight-lipped about the whole thing!
