Designers like Alexander Wang (Far Left) let burgundy dominate his Winter/Fall 2012 collection. While others like Stella McCartney, Gucci and Donna Karen used deep red accents to hint at this seasons hottest colours.

To see how best to transform this trend from catwalk to closet I took a little peek at how my fave celebs have been incorporating this look into their Winter/Fall wardrobes.

Left to Right: The ever stylish busy mum Elle McPhearson teams a floppy fedora with a cozy burgundy cardi for an effortless, on trend look....perfect for the school run. The new Mrs. Ryan Reynolds (Blake Lively) nods to the trend sporting this ox blood quilted bag whilst running errands out and about. And lastly, for a more dramatic evening look, Ms. Nathalie Portman looks uber elegant walking the red carpet in this floor length burgundy gown, her milky skin tone really makes this dress stand out. I reckon its high time to ditch the fake tan for this Winter anyway.
