Take That frontman, Gary Barlow has ruled out any visit to the USA as part of the X-Factor house round next month because he fears he will miss the birth of his new daughter.

Show chiefs had hoped to send Barlow and his acts to New York as a follow-up to last year’s series in which they all went off to LA. The UK, X-Factor judge has told his bosses that he is not prepared to do any promotion work outside of Europe because the dates clash with the due date of his fourth child. Last night a show source said: “Gary’s daughter is due to arrive at exactly the same time the judges houses are set to be filmed and he wants to be within a few hours flying distance if his wife, Dawn goes into labour.

Back in May of this year, Barlow told TV Biz how he feared his missus would divorce him over his workload as he went on a six-week tour of the Commonwealth and organised the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert. He is quoted as saying “Because I’ve done a tour last year with Take That then gone on X Factor, I felt like divorce would be filed if I told my wife I was going on this trip.” This week the X-Factor show’s judges have been filming the boot camp stage in Liverpool and today they will find out which groups they are mentoring.
