If you’re having a bad day then you need to read this. This will make you forget your woes, if only momentarily. They say bad news comes in threes, in the case of John Galliano, it knows no number. In the last two years things have spiralled for the Gibraltar-born British designer beginning with the publicising of that video showing him making anti-Semitic remarks in Paris, closely followed by his dismissal from his position at both Christian Dior and his namesake label all before being convicted. Now if that was head-ache inducing enough, last week new French president François Hollande confirmed his intention that he will revoke the designer's Legion of Honour that he was awarded in 2010.

This is serious news; it is almost unheard of for the French to strip people of their honours. Just to put it in context, the only previous person to be stripped of their honour was Vichy official Maurice Papon after he was found guilty 'of complicity in Nazi crimes against humanity' in 1991!

The latest addition to this ever increasing drama, according to The Telegraph, is Galliano is set to make an appearance in court. However the case is not to be heard against Galliano, it is him who is bringing the case against his former employer, Christian Dior S.A.  It is 'believed that Galliano has lodged an employee/employer dispute claim for over €15 million at the Conseil des Prud’hommes. The details behind the case have not yet been revealed but it is presumed the case is set around claims of wrongful termination of employment. The trial is set to begin on February 4.

So how does your bad day compare to Gallianos? Fell better?
