ASOS spring/summer 2012 will include specialist collections such as ASOS White, Black, Africa & Revive. It will be pretty hard to pick a favorite amongst these delicious delights but they may just be set to cause some fashion madness and bank balance chaos depending on how fabulous we want to feel for the season.
To understand some examples you can expect, ASOS Black is a collaboration with print talented designer Lauren McAlmont. It involves a fashion forward and tantalizing clash of patchwork, print, stripes, rubber & foil. ASOS Revive paired up with the wonderful guest designer Ebru Ercon to create an interesting 90s inspired collection involving pieces such as bumbags, flatforms, oversized proportions and baggy shorts. A modern way of experiencing flashbacks to those laid back and loose fitting, not so far-flung days of the past.
Together with all of these fascinating pieces, there are collaborations with Sophia Kokosalaki & Piers Atkinson, ASOS chief collections and new designer brands added to their existing impressive brand mix and will no doubt be a serious success. ASOS has become one of the most exciting places to shop and the best part is that the prices continue to be low while we remain stylish and sleek. The only danger here is how fashionista greedy we will be feeling. So whether you want to try 3D lace, 50's inspired swimsuit look playsuits, Victoria Beckham inspired sportswear or tropical prints clashed with stripes and Lacroix rose motifs, let's just say whatever you choose you can feel safe in knowing you cannot make a mistake with these looks. Also, don't forget £5 from each sale with ASOS Africa will be sent to Soko, a fashion factory in Mombassa providing employment for the local economy.
