Sarah Jessica Parker has been cast in the role of a Vogue fashion editor in the upcoming season of Glee. And who better to style her than someone who knows the ropes, Vogue's very own living legend, Anna Wintour. Perhaps we'll see SJP take a break from carefree Carrie's style that made her famous in favour of a blunt Louise Brooks-esque bob and thick oversized shades?

Although this collaboration has come about due to Wintour's daughter, Bee Shaffer and her recent employment at Glee's production company, Parker and Wintour are no stranger to one another. Both worked together on a fundraiser organised for Obama's latest re-election campaign. The fundraiser was held at SJP's home in New York with Wintour as her co-host, where the cost of dining was a staggering $80,000 per head as a bid to gather election funding. SJP has also appeared on the cover of Vogue six times due to her popularity and success as Sex And The City's fashionable and enviable character, Carrie Bradshaw.

Aside from her guaranteed impeccably styled appearance this season, SJP's character has been described by Glee producers as 'hilarious, frazzled and eccentric'. There will also be another treat in store, as SJP is set to dust off her vocal chords and serenade Lea Michele and Chis Colfer's characters with the song 'Come Little Children', which she sang in the 1993 Halloween themed comedy, Hocus Pocus.

Following the success of last season's star appearance of Gwyneth Paltrow, this season not only features Sarah Jessica Parker, but there will also be an appearance by How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress, Kate Hudson who will play the role of a dance teacher at the school.
