Heartless thieves have broken into the house where Amy Winehouse died and stolen clothing which were earmarked to be auctioned off to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The dresses that were estimated to be worth over €160,000 were pitched were all set to go to an auction house in New York to raise money for the charity set up in her name after the death of the 27 year old star back in July of last year.

The Thieves made off with a “newsprint” dress that she wore on the Jools Holland show in the UK back in 2006 along with her wedding dress and other items.tems stolen were just some of the late Amy’s memorabilia being catalogued at her home in Camden, North London, where she died which has now been turned into a shrine by loyal fans of the star. Amy’s distraught father , Mitch is upset to think that the stolen items could have raised money to help children hospices and fund drug counselling.
